The End of Monthly Support May 1st

As you are now aware- I am still in the US.

At this time, I can officially say that I am here in NC for the time being, and do not plan to return to Ukraine anytime soon.

God can always change things, but for my sanity, I've surrendered to the fact that I am here, and must live my life for God where I am currently and can not dwell on where I am not!

With that being said, as of May 1st, I am asking you to end your monthly support. I have been so blessed to have your help these past two years! Without you, nothing would have been accomplished!

There is no way to convey into words my gratitude for your faithfulness to God's calling. Man, I am so amazed at God's provisions and how he used so many of you to further his kingdom! It brings me to tears thinking about all that these past two years have brought, and without you all praying for me and supporting me, things could have turned out very differently!

I love you all, and again am so, so, so thankful for you!

I am not sure what is next for me. I've spent the last month working part time as a lifeguard. I am continuing to look for more full-time work and hope to really get back on my feet. But God is already using me in ways I never thought possible. I've been able to share with so many churches and groups, not only my testimony but also able to shed light on the human trafficking issues around the world! I love being able to share and hope that this aspect of my new ministry grows! This is not the end for me, just a new beginning! And a new way for you to support me is by having your churches and small groups book me to come speak!

In the meantime- I will continue to live a purpose filled life- loving those around me, and doing whatever God calls me to do. That is all any of us can do:)

On my website I will leave the paypal option open. Some of you have expressed a desire to continue to support me in my traveling and speaking. Of course if you send any support to Hands on Missions, they will also let me know. But I want everyone to know that your monthly support is no longer valid.

Serenity

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.  Today has been a bit of a struggle for me. I've been asking God why, which is never an encouraging way to spend the day. It all started with a little boy at the social orphanage. Last week, he was a little wild, so I just scooped him up, and held him in my lap, while Ed told the Bible Story. As we sat, this little boy just melted into my arms, sat quietly, and listened. So this week, as soon as I sat down in the classroom, he was climbing into my lap, and started to just talk to me.  He told me how everyone had gotten picked up this weekend and got to go home for the holiday Ukraine just celebrated. This social orphanage we go to, the kids live and go to school in one place. Their parents either are incarcerated, too poor to care for their child, or a single parent. RIP

I  want to take the time to let you know how great Dr. K was. He has been a ministry partner with Hands on Missions for a really long time. His free medical clinic offered aid to thousand. He would make house calls (even to the missionaries in town) and give free medicine. Often he would visit our elderly neighbors, patiently listen to their every whim, as though he had all his day to offer sympathy. I left Ukraine for a couple years, and when I returned, I ran into Dr. K on the street. He genuinely took interest in how I was doing asking questions and encouraging me. Couple months ago my arm went numb and I was freaking out a little bit so I went to Dr. K for help. I was in pain and worried, and he looked at me and said, its okay, don't worry. And after a chiropractic session, I could feel my hand again.
