Just Roll With It and Pack.

As many of you are now aware- since November, Ukraine has been in a revolutionary state of mind. And in the last few weeks, what was meant for peace, has turned into violence, with the death toll rising. Most of the focus has been in Kiev, which is in central Ukraine. L'viv had been relatively quiet, but as of this week, there has been a lot of protest movements, to include the take over of most government buildings, as well as the police headquarters. If you are unaware of all that is going on there, a google search of Ukraine News, will bring up article links to BBC and other news outlets. I hope you will take the time to read up on the situation there, and to be in earnest prayer for this country. Ukraine is a beautiful country filled with beautiful people. And those beautiful people deserve a country that has hope for the future. They are fighting against their corrupted government, and want the world to hear them roar, as they fight for a democratic nation that stands for the people by the people. If you are in the US, I urge you to repost articles, contact your state representatives, and let them know that it is important to you, that the US back Ukraine, 100%. We all can be a part of this revolution, and help our brothers and sisters in Christ, stand for what they know to be right.

All of that- and I know what you are wondering, and what many of you have already emailed me to ask: what does all of this mean for me? I've confided in some of you over the past few months, that I've felt God working in my heart to come back to the states. And I thought 3 months would do it, but I think God has other plans. Of course, the country of Ukraine being in a state of unrest, does not make it easy to be a foreigner. And with the government buildings being tossed and burned, it makes it impossible right now to get documents processed. Again, this is only my perspective from the US, and is all subject to change because God is the author of my story, but as of this moment, I am departing as scheduled. How long I will be in Ukraine is up to God honestly. Having done many credit hours in the field of intelligence, I am hyper aware of the possible scenarios that I might come across, but I am confident that I am meant to be in Ukraine once again, even if it is for a short period of time.

What you can do: Please pray for Ukraine. For protection of the protesters, and for the change of heart of those who are willing to kill. Pray for the leaders of Ukraine, and for a the future of Ukraine. Also, please pray for me as I travel. Pray for no delays and no missed connections. Please pray that my luggage stays with me and is not lost. And please pray that as I arrive in Ukraine, customs goes smoothly!

I am also going to go ahead and ask that those of you who are willing and ready, to start fundraising on my behalf for a return ticket. Again, it is all in the hands of God- but in case a situation does arise and I need to get out of the country quickly, I need the funds to be there to make that happen. Once I am in Ukraine, and can see with my own eyes what is going on there, and what I feel the spirit is leading me to do, I will keep you posted.

Just know that I am packed and not alone, God is with me. He will guide my steps, and as the spirit leads I will follow.
