May is here

L'viv is showing signs of life finally... The sun has shone days in a row, flowers and trees are blooming-- Spring is happening in two weeks, but I'm glad it has finally decided to arrive! The days have been longer, and it is nice to be able to walk around town without freezing. I love seeing things come back to life, and the whole atmosphere of L'viv change. Outdoor cafes pop up all around the city, as do little ice cream stands which make me happy:)

This past Sunday Ukraine ( and most of Eastern Europe) celebrated Easter! Church was wonderful as well having the whole church pray over me and my family! Anytime people lay hands and pray for me, I just tear up--I love feeling the Holy Spirit filling my cup up through the love and concern of my brothers and sisters in Christ--- Community is a beautiful thing when it is done right:)

After Church me, the parentals, my brother and little Emma, had lunch together... Meat, potatoes, green beans and deviled eggs (love my dads deviled eggs!). It was an amusing lunch because the meal did not look like a normal Ukrainian meal, and Emma was certain that she was not going to touch it... After bribing her with desert, she took a bite, then another... next thing you know, she had eaten more than I ate! Love that kid, love that we get to introduce her to new things, but I am sad that we have to leave her for three months! Please pray for Emma while we are not here- that God would protect her, make his presence known in her life! And that her mom and family would come to know the awesome goodness of having a personal relationship with God!

So on the note of leaving, I have bought a plane ticket to Moldova for May 19th! Despite the craziness in L'viv, I am super excited to return to Moldova, to work with Project Rescue! I love the women of the rescue home, and I am excited for this opportunity! Please pray for me during this time, for the other interns, the translators, missionaries, and for the women of the home! May God move, teach and grow us all!

And I have to say, THANK YOU! Thank you to each of you who have given to make the internship possible! Thank you for caring that I have to leave Ukraine for a short time!

Many of you have asked if I am still in need of funds, and the answer is yes. I've gotten about half of what I need for this 90 day period, so if you, your church, or friends would be willing to help a sista out, that would be great!

Again thank you all for your prayers, support and love!

God bless you and keep you,God smile on you and gift you,God look you full in the face and make you prosper.
