It's been a crazy year
Kids are like that- unpredictable. One year your classes can be just the greatest, filled with learning and love. Other years, you get a bunch that are just "energetic" and "unique"... Despite the differences, you love the crazy bunches just as much as the calm because they become your kids.
People everyday are doing ordinary things. They go to work, they care for their families. They are studying, making friends. Just ordinary people, doing the ordinary things. When I think about extraordinary people, I think about people who save lives, or do these huge ministries. But then I realized something, we are all just people. All of us doing our version of ordinary.
These kids have been lessons on patience and showing love. But they have been ordinary days for me. It wasn't until this week the kids were asked to retail all that they remember from our lessons-- and you should've heard them. They told, in detail mind you, stories that for some, were from two+ years ago.
These childrens hearts have been filled with stories of the awe and wonder of God. They have been not only told, but shown the love of God. Their lives may not be the greatest, their odds of making it are against them, but the one thing that no statistic or person can ever take away from them is the love of God. May the seeds that have been planted in their hearts grow, and may they reach their generation for Christ!
I hate packing! As I've already told you. But one of those things in life, you just go to grin and bear it. I make piles. Then make piles out of those piles. And so on, till I have the bare minimum of what I need to survive. If weight allows, I then go back and add things. This is why I don't like packing though- what exactly is the bare minimum. I mean, you don't know what to expect. Will you need this, or not need that. Its a big predicting guessing game. Guess I will have to put those intelligence classes to use:) And hopefully I will have all that I need, and if not, well, it will all work out.
Thank you for supporting me this past year- so that I can be here to do the ordinary, and because of it, I've seen God do the extraordinary!

I leave Sunday at around 3 my times ( 8am EST). I would really appreciate your prayers that I don't miss any flights, and that I have a smooth transition out of Ukraine!!! And that my version of worst case scenario does not come to be!
Thank you for your donations to help me through this time! God has provided for me in ways I could've never predicted! May he bless you greatly for your prayers and provisions!
