In Case You are Curious

I haven't blogged an update in awhile for one reason: I personally am over the drama!

Have you ever been in the ocean, when the under pull of the waves seems to be so powerful that you just feel this constant battle to stand on your own two feet? That is how I have felt since January. Seriously, the stress of not knowing has at times been so overwhelming that I just felt trapped in my worries. Of course, God has been so gracious to me, and despite my limited understanding of why we are having so many problems getting our documents to stay in Ukraine, I've been reminded that God is in control, of that which I can see, and of course over the vast array of things I cannot see.

With that, the Visa/registration saga continues for me and my family. Today we were told that there is a problem with our documents, so if you think about, please be in prayer for us, and that we will get our documents. If we don't get our documents, I will need even more prayer because I will be seeking God's next steps for me ( but my heart is to stay in Ukraine, so power of prayer is where I'm at right now:)

Tomorrow hopefully will bring us good news and we will get all our documents we need to go to Poland. At this point, miracles from God are the only thing I have my hope put in... So cover me and my family with prayer!

On another note, a more happy note... You've all heard by now about the purse drive that was done for me... lots of purses were collected and are being sent to me to take to Moldova (I am planning to go the end of May). I was thinking how could I involve others to 1. Spread information about the ministry being done there 2. Give as many people as possible an opportunity to be apart of the ministry in some way... With that I was given a moment to ask the church I attend  here in L'viv, if anyone wanted to help collect goodies to put in the purses to make a complete gift to give the women at Freedom Home.... I was so touched and amazed at what the members of the church collected for me to take. It also amazed me how many girls had questions about the ministry and about Human Trafficking in general. Not only was the church involved in collecting things, but God also orchestrated for a visiting missions team to be involved too. It just goes to show you that God cares for us all--- and an international caring community is God designed church-- the body of Christ working together. A purse and little gifts may seem trivial to some, but it will be blessing to a woman on her journey to full spiritual, physical and mental recovery... it has been a way to share on the realities of human trafficking on an international level and it has provided an even bigger support system for my future plans... God is amazing and he sees every detail of all our lives! Praise him for his magnificent love!

So lots will be going on these next few weeks and months really. But the most pressing needs I have are:

1. Prayer for our documents to be given to us tomorrow
2. With those documents we can with ease get to Poland and get our Visas...
3. We get back with visas in our passports and can QUICKLY get our registration done.
4. Quickly get the registration done so that I can leave to go to Moldova for the internship, and know I can return to Ukraine afterwards:)

I'm also in need of funds. I still need about $400 dollars for my internship and some extra funds to go to Poland. God always provides for me, and I have complete faith that whatever the future holds, God's plan is perfect for my life. Rather in Ukraine or Moldova or the states, I will continue to praise God. Thank you for your support. Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for being a part of my community. I am grateful for you and I pray for all of you who read my blog. Be blessed-- and know that in the midst of the storms, God is where you can find rest:)
