Update on one of my puddles
This is a follow up to the previous post; http://keepupwithchelsey.blogspot.com/2013/01/puddles-that-could-swallow-you-whole.html
So my day went like this--
Ice every where-- I slipped and stomped through some "eat your children" kind of puddles... 10:15 a.m.
waited for bus...in the rain...
Rode the bus 25 mins, arrive at the office that can process mine and my family's documents. 11:00 a.m.
Wait another 20 mins for my parents due to traffic plus another 30 mins for our lawyer to show up... 11:50
Wait in the office for the director to grace us with his presence ( all with my stomach doing flips like it had a bug)... 5 till 1, he tells us we need this one document that should come from Kyiv( mind you that he'd spent the whole hour walking by us, knowing what we needed but didn't have... moments like that I wish I had an insight to what Jesus would of said in that situation...hmm..)
1:00 I begin my trek home, (3o mins) and I got sick-- least it waited till I got home right? Always a plus side...
Moral of the story is, we need a piece of paper from the over all head of the Baptist Union in Ukraine, because our Visa from last year is from them...( which I would like to mention is a new thing, so we're told... along with the you have to renew registration 15 days prior to it running out... )
Hopefully by the end of the week we will know more about this document.
Hope I painted a good enough picture of how crappy today was-- I need some sympathy, lol-- But you know, life is like that. It is fueled by the not so pleasant moments just as it is by the good ones. And no matter what comes your way, life goes on... you press on, you jump in the puddle, and you just hope it is in fact a puddle and not a sink hole!
Anywho---please continue to pray for all of us... stress in a monster that is hard to control, but we keep reminding each other that God has everything under control= and he does, I believe that!
On another note-- There is supposedly a cap for the fine, so hopefully the most we have to pay is $100 each for over staying our registration, and we have 90 days in the country legally without our documents... so hopefully everything will get turned in at that time.
Thanks for your prayers & Messages that you've sent to encourage me and my family. And now that I know the price for our fine, if you or anyone you know would be interested in helping cover those fees, please let me know. If you'd like more information on how you can make a donation, the information can be find on my website for Radical Feet. http://radicalfeet.weebly.com/hom.html
