What a week!

First off, I have been so good about posting a blog a week, and normally, that post would happen on Thursdays. But It is summer, like many, my schedule has also changed, and thus, my post will be unpredictable, but just note, that even if I don't get my post out in a timely manner, it doesn't mean things are not going on:) It just means, that things are busy...

This week we had the first playground ministry. And we had exactly the right amount of craft supplies needed! God has orchestrated things beautifully this summer! Excited to see what else comes, and the for the relationship with the kids to be built!

Also, as you may know, Euro 2012 is being hosted in Poland and Ukraine. L'viv is one of the host cities. Today was the first game in L'viv. Many tourist and crazed fans were roaming the streets. You could hear Country anthems being sung, soccer chants, and all kinds of noise all through the city center. Not to mention how many people were already drunk by 4 in the afternoon---- It was a little chaotic. I think I like L'viv better when all you hear are violins and accordion musicians on the streets. To give you a glimpse into the festivities here, I took some pictures...

This is the FAN ZONE entrance... In the middle of our city square

And the Opera House, our beautiful landmark, blocked by
the big TV screen and stage where the fans can watch the match

Jodie and I in the Fan Zone, amongst the crowds...

And to end week, we watched the the two games showed today, at a church event, that a fellow missionary invited us too. And it was so great, because I was able to take my buddy Mikola ( the homeless man I spend time with) with me, and he was able to eat supper, fellowship, and watch the game with the group. He seemed to really enjoy himself, plus he was able to take a shower, and get some new clothes!

God is so good.

Thank you to those that have supported me in prayer and financial gifts this month! Means so much to me, and know that your generosity makes it possible for me to live here, to do the things I do, to meet the people I meet, and that is a huge blessing, especially since I am confident in what God has called me to here in L'viv. So thank you for being a part of my journey!

God bless! And can't wait to see what I will have to share in the next post! To God be all the Glory for great things he hath done...
