Week of December 1st
So, drum roll please........The winner of round one of prizes is Linda... Thanks for sharing the link to my blog on Facebook! If you have not yet "liked" the Radical Feet Page on Facebook, I encourage you to do so!
The Phase 2 of this cheerful giving, is a gift of Ukrainian hand painted eggs. To enter the drawing, all you have to do is post your favorite, encouraging, Bible verse, or an encouraging quote on the Radical Feet Page! Everyone who leaves a verse, or note of encouragement, will be entered into the drawing! Simple enough, and this is a great way to be more involved in the Radical Feet Ministry! Again, those of you not in the Facebook world who want to enter, just leave a comment below, and you too will be entered!
Now on to more serious matters. This is a bit of a longer post, but its my heart, so please read....
Operation World, on December 2nd, is asking us all to pray for Ukraine. I love that people around the world in one day will be praying for this country I am now calling home. One of the reasons I am here, and the reason prayer for Ukraine is desperately needed, is because of this:
And on a side note: I will be in Krakow Poland getting my visa that allows me to return to Ukraine for a year, the 4th-8th of December. We leave the night (10pm) of the 4th and will take a bus through the night across the boarder, and arrive the 5th in Krakow (6 am that is). Please be in prayer for me and my family. We still lack all the funds needed, but we know God is faithful to provide, and were just hoping that lots of donations come into the Hands on Missions office tomorrow:) So if you would like to help, just click, and it will take you the Radical Feet website, with details on how you can give. Thanks for reading this blog, and taking interest in what it has to say.
Be radical.

Operation World, on December 2nd, is asking us all to pray for Ukraine. I love that people around the world in one day will be praying for this country I am now calling home. One of the reasons I am here, and the reason prayer for Ukraine is desperately needed, is because of this:
Ukraine is a source country for trafficked women, and is currently one of the largest exporters of women to the international sex industry10. The "exotic beauty" of Ukrainian and Russian women has made them the most valuable commodities in the current international sex trade11. Over 420,000 Ukrainian women between the ages of 15 and 27 have been trafficked in the past decade12, just less than the 440,000 people in Ukraine with HIV, considered one of the most severe HIV/AIDS epidemics in Europe13. One study reveals that one in every 10 Ukrainian persons knows someone in their community who has been trafficked14. The majority of Ukrainian women are trafficked to Turkey, Russia, Poland, and other western European nations15.
Widespread poverty, lack of employment opportunities (75% of unemployed are women) and discrimination against women has caused a large trend for young women to search for jobs in the EU16. Working abroad is most Ukrainian women's dream, and most young Ukrainian girls grow up with no awareness of human trafficking, or the high demand for Ukrainian women in the international sex industry17. Thus, the rate of trafficking from the Ukraine continues to rise18 and the majority of convicted traffickers continue to receive no time in jail in the Ukraine19.
A-21 Campaign
The Interknot (Social Orphanage) kids that my family works with, are at a higher risk of becoming a Human Traffic Statistic. And recently my mom and I are convinced that in order to reach Ukraine, and really make a difference, the future generation, these kids, are a great place start. They are the future. And we want every child to know that they are loved. That their is a heavenly father who cares for them, and has a plan for their lives. But the difference starts by showing love. Love can cover a multitude of sins, as Jesus demonstrated on the cross. That love made a difference in my life. And with love evil can be conquered. So be radical, love radically, and try not to get lost looking at the big picture, but take every opportunity that is daily set before you to make a difference, take a stand, and just love like Jesus loved. And if you are in need of motivation, do it for her, so that she won't become statistic.
So Please, Pray for Ukraine. Pray for the people and kids Radical Feet works with.. Pray for the churches here. Pray for Revival. Pray for Spiritual Strength for Christians here. Pray for the missionaries. Just Pray.
