A Short Post about a BIG deal
Tonight my family and I are leaving for Krakow. Some of you may be wondering what all the hype is about? Well this is why...
To be in Ukraine, you have to have a visa. When you enter the country, you have 90 days you are allowed here, before you have to apply for a long term visa through a Ukrainian Embassy in another country. Which means, since I've been in Ukraine, I have been on my 90 days. I can not re enter the country without a visa. Without a Visa I will have to wait another 90 days(or something like that) before I can re enter Ukraine. So for me it is a big deal to get a visa. And the thought of not getting a visa is very stressful.
The problem right now, is not a lot of missionaries have been successful with getting visas, and many have faced document problems, money problems and just problems in general. So there is a lot of stress and a bit of uncertainty.
But none the less, I have to get out of Ukraine tonight. So please please please, be in prayer! That everything will go smoothly, that my family can have a breath of fresh air and enjoy our two days in Poland. Everyone needs a break sometimes and this is our chance to get that break. Please pray when we go to the embassy, we will have no problems, that everything will be in order, and that they will give us our visas that day (as they say they can take up to 10 days to give visas but we don't have the money to spend that much time there)... And pray for our general safety as we cross the border.
Thanks so much to those of you who have helped make this trip possible, but giving donations. I hope that you my readers will continue to give not only of your time and resources to Radical Feet, but that you will continue to find ways to bless those around you this holiday season!
If you do not get a post update on Thursday then you will know I'm held up in Poland and need your prayers and support even more than before;)
So off to Poland I go... And hopefully I will be back soon!
