So, my previous post, is so full of grammatical mistakes, but I am so grateful for the response I got from it... For those who do not know, I am safely back in L'viv with my visa. This trip to Poland was full of trials and spiritual attacks, not to mention extortation and being denied rights but we do not have to go all into details... But just know, that with your prayers doors were opened, literally. I made a phone call to the US Embassy because our encounter was less than ideal with the Ukrainian Consulate. I simply called to explain that I was fearful that the UA Consulate might deny my visa request, purely from a point of revenge, for the politics going on behind the scenes. And without a visa I would be stuck in Poland with limited funds and no where to go. The US Embassy guy that I talked too said that he would talk to his supervisor and they would see what they could do. Honestly I did not expect anything to come from it, but at least if the worst happened, I had a contact who might be able to point me in a direction if I were to be stranded. Well the following day, I receive an email from the US Embassy guy and he informed me that the number two guy at the embassy called the UA Consulate, and he was assured that there would be no delays with our visa process. So after that email, my dad called the Ukraine Consulate and that guy said that there was no longer a problem and that we could pick up our passports on Thursday... Thursday? The Ukraine Consulate is not opened on Thursday... hmm... We go anyways, and sure enough, they unlocked the front doors just for us... put the visa in our passports and sent us on our merry way... And the title to this post is with power in our prayer, we prayed for an army of angels to just go in with us, that Satan could not be near us or our passports. Before, when our problems began, we did not pray with a real, "lets move a mountain" kind of prayer. And before, we did not have all of you praying in one accord for us either... Let me tell you, if you have never truly sensed a demonic attack, this will not make sense, but you could seriously feel the presence of those angels, and the battle being waged.
Ukraine is under a spiritual attack constantly. Satan is so good at deceiving people, blind folding them to the truth of Christ. But even though we are paying a fortune just for the "privilege" of living in Ukraine, I must say, you can't put a price tag on being where God has called you to daily pick up your cross and fight the biggest battle... the battle for people's souls.
There is power in prayer. There is power when we all come together and pray for specific request with the authority we have as heirs to the kingdom. The spirit that is within us, is a part of the trinity, three in one. With that spirit I can tell mountains to move... It is truly amazing to think about it... that that is the power just in one person, so when we all pray together with that same passion, how much more we can move things.
The vision that I have for Radical Feet is to see people be constantly in partnership with the ministry. To have people who financially give consistently.. .To have people praying consistently...To have people putting the ministry on every prayer chain and every prayer list they can find... To have people networking as the body of Christ. This week people not only prayed, but they gave of their finances to help me in need. I had not even mentioned yet the new "online" giving option on my website, yet somehow, people saw, and gave online. This was a huge blessing, and did cover the exact cost of the extra night we had to spend in Krakow. I'm blown away at the power of prayer, the power of cheerful giving and the power of the body of Christ.
This experience has revealed to me that I can do nothing alone. I need the body. I may be the radical feet that actually do the going... but you may be the prayer warrior who prays me through the toughest situations, prays the blinder off the person I may be sharing Christ with.. You may be a giver who ensures that I am stocked with craft supplies for the orphanage, or gives so that I can rent a bus to go to orphanage in the outer city limits... You may be the net worker and advocate that reminds people to think about global missions, that gets people to donate their time, money and energy to make it possible for ministry to happen in Ukraine. We are all the body of Christ, we are all called to do, serve, love and give like Jesus.
So let me just say thank you again, for all the prayers and support you have shown this past week. My prayer is that you won't stop, because your prayers together are so powerful and mountain moving. And if your desire is to continue in partnership, just check this blog regularly for updates on how you can give, pray and serve to make ministry in Ukraine all that it can be in reaching this nation for Christ.
