Thankful and a contest?

Happy Thanksgiving!

All the things I am thankful for would be impossible to list. I have such a deep gratitude for everyday things, that even to list those, would be impossible. And really, to say I am thankful for you, my readers and supporters, would not even begin to describe how grateful I am for each of you. I am so thankful for a loving savior, who gave me life, life abundant. I am thankful for Ukraine, even on the bad days, I know that purpose is here, and a revival is in reach. I am thankful for my family, who supports me, loves me, and helps me grow each day, not to mention lets me the adult child, live at home again. I am thankful for my friends, new and old, who help me, pray for me, and keep me sane… most days.  I am most thankful for those of you who support Radical Feet with your love, encouragement, prayers and donations, without you, it would not be possible for me to be thankful for living in Ukraine.  Above all, I am thankful for my mighty God, who breathes life into me, gives me purpose and a passion. I am thankful for my savior who lived a radical example, and called me to follow Him. I am thankful, my life, my simple life, has purpose, and it does not get better than that:)

In honor of the Christmas, and the spirit of giving, I am holding a contest for the month of December.  For the weeks leading up to Christmas, I will be giving out some prizes, three to be exact.  Each prize will vary in size and shape, but all will be fun to get!  I will post a picture of the prize up for grabs, each week on my blog, so you will be able to see the prize.
The way to win the prize will vary each week.

This week, the prize is this set of beautiful earrings. I bought these in the local art market here in L’viv. They are authentic, and I find them quite charming. I know I have male readers too, but these would make a great gift, and they will have a neat story to go with them as well!
So here is how to enter to win them this week: First for you Facebookers, "like" the Radical Feet Ministries Facebook page(http://www.facebook.com/RadicalFeet). From there, look for the blog post for this week, and click “share.” The more you share, and get your friends to share, the more times you will be entered for the drawing. But remember, for it to count, it has to be shared from the original post on the Radical Feet page.
If you do not have Facebook, and would like to be entered, you can still share the link to my blog. Just simply leave a comment under this post, and have your friends leave a comment too with your name at the beginning.The more comments with your name, the most times you have a chance to win!

    I just stumbled upon this ministry that you have started and am so proud of you!!! I will continue to share it with others and support you as God directs! My husband shares in your passion to stop human trafficking which is part of the reason why we chose this job here in the UK. Thanks for you beautiful loving heart. I will pray that God will use you in outlandish and radical ways for His kingdom! And I will pray that the women and children you minister to will open their hearts to the truth of the gospel. Serenity

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.  Today has been a bit of a struggle for me. I've been asking God why, which is never an encouraging way to spend the day. It all started with a little boy at the social orphanage. Last week, he was a little wild, so I just scooped him up, and held him in my lap, while Ed told the Bible Story. As we sat, this little boy just melted into my arms, sat quietly, and listened. So this week, as soon as I sat down in the classroom, he was climbing into my lap, and started to just talk to me.  He told me how everyone had gotten picked up this weekend and got to go home for the holiday Ukraine just celebrated. This social orphanage we go to, the kids live and go to school in one place. Their parents either are incarcerated, too poor to care for their child, or a single parent. RIP

I  want to take the time to let you know how great Dr. K was. He has been a ministry partner with Hands on Missions for a really long time. His free medical clinic offered aid to thousand. He would make house calls (even to the missionaries in town) and give free medicine. Often he would visit our elderly neighbors, patiently listen to their every whim, as though he had all his day to offer sympathy. I left Ukraine for a couple years, and when I returned, I ran into Dr. K on the street. He genuinely took interest in how I was doing asking questions and encouraging me. Couple months ago my arm went numb and I was freaking out a little bit so I went to Dr. K for help. I was in pain and worried, and he looked at me and said, its okay, don't worry. And after a chiropractic session, I could feel my hand again.
