So over the past two weeks, I have driven over 1200 miles. First to Lima Ohio, then to Beaver Falls Pennsylvania, to Warren Pennsylvania, then on to Maryland, DC and finally returning to NC. I was so blessed. One by being able to see friends was a huge huge blessing. I love my extended family. And also, the churches I got to speak at, and the people I met who prayed for me, donated to the ministry and just took interest in me was so encouraging. This trip has given me more strength to be independent and brave, and has taught me the value of connections, prayer, and where not to be when an earthquake happens, read on to find out more:)

THE SPY MUSEUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<3

White House

Its amazing the kind of pictures you can get when no one is around...

So, I guess it is time to share my DC story with you. Well here is what happened. I decided that since I was so close to DC, I might as well, full fill a life long dream of going there. So I hop on the Metro, and go on my own little adventure. First stop was the International Spy Museum which was fantastic. Of course I that it was amazing because I knew a lot of stuff about the history of espionage, but it was cool to learn new things, and play with the fun exhibits. Even got to get a cover, and had to remember it later on, and guess what, I remembered everything about my cover person, hmm... anyways:) After exploring the Museum for a couple hours, I decided to walk through Chinatown a bit, The White House, and finally the National Mall. So I am standing in front of the Washington Monument when all of the sudden, the ground shook. Ive never experienced an earthquake before, so my first instinct was something blew up. But then people began to run away from the monument, so then I thought, hmm maybe it is falling. All these sirens started going off, buildings were being evacuated, and no body really had cell service. So what was I suppose to do? Well, I had already walked that far, I was determined to finish my route through the National Mall. So I walked to the Lincoln Memorial, which is why I have a picture of a Police Officer standing off to the side (pic below), because everything had been evacuated. Then being that I still couldnt call out, I walked all the way back to the Metro, and what I am assuming was one of the first groups out of the DC area. We were packed on like Sardines. And what normally takes 45 mins took 2 hours. It was pretty crazy. Maybe God was letting me get my mind in the right frame for public transportation in Ukraine? Who knows, but I had a first experience, and it was fun in the end.

Helicopter examined all the buildings and monuments, he was quit the show

So all in all, I had a wonderful, cup overflowen, kind of trip. Lots of time to myself, and with friends. First experiences, some good, some a little scary. But God blessed me. God is blessing me. And now with 15 days left till I move, I have lots of packing, and sorting to do. But I am ready to take on whatever awaits me. Please continue to pray for me, and for the monthly support I still need. And thank you to all those who made my trip these past few weeks possible. Love and Blessings to you all!
