Orange Fluff

Image
http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/orange-fluff-i/detail.aspx So life is stressful with packing and getting things in order to move (in nine days none the less), so I decided to share with the world the one thing that so far has been very comforting and calming for me---Orange Fluff... I do not know why I like it so much, but I had a big smile on my face when my grandmother surprised me with a large bowl of it, she added pecans just for me:) So anyways, Nine days left till I leave the states, and orange fluff is helping make packing not so crazy for me:)  Enjoy for yourself if you want!

So over the past two weeks, I have driven over 1200 miles. First to Lima Ohio, then to Beaver Falls Pennsylvania, to Warren Pennsylvania, then on to Maryland, DC and finally returning to NC. I was so blessed. One by being able to see friends was a huge huge blessing. I love my extended family. And also, the churches I got to speak at, and the people I met who prayed for me, donated to the ministry and just took interest in me was so encouraging. This trip has given me more strength to be independent and brave, and has taught me the value of connections, prayer, and where not to be when an earthquake happens, read on to find out more:) Lauren (freshman roommate), Me, and Kristen her sister Lauren and I Lacy, my dear friend, who taught me good study habits, and has just always been there for me! Rachel, another freshman Room mate that I had... her and her  family are very dear to me. We were standing on a outlook at the Allegheny National Fo...

It has been a great week... Started Saturday by driving ten hours, which was not the best, but the drive was smooth and peaceful. Then Sunday I got to speak at Cridersville Church of the Nazarene. Everyone was very warm and welcoming and my cup over ran with their love and support! From Left to Right: Me, Best Friend Lauren, sister Kristen, Pastor John, and Mama Spyker Thanks for the prayers for my trip... Please continue to pray for me as I travel my way into Pennsylvania Wednesday:) Here are a few pictures to enjoy:

Wow, time is just flying by! I returned to Jacksonville this past weekend to visit my little Afghan friend, Soman, who will return home this coming Sunday. She has made a great recovery from her heart surgery, but please keep this sweetie in your thoughts as she returns to a war stricken country!  I also got to spend time with friends and "family" which was lots of fun! This weekend I leave for Lima Ohio... I am going to visit with one of my dearest friends and speak at a church. Then I will travel to see another friend in Pittsburgh and then my final destination will be Warren PA. Lots of traveling in my future but God is just blessing me with great opportunities and I am just so thankful for your prayers, love and support!
