Several months ago, God stirred my heart. He began to show me how much the world needs us to show His love. Children are hurting because they have no hope. Women are being trafficked because they see no light. Young adults walk aimlessly in life, having no expectations because they have no reason to live. This world has nothing to offer but darkness and pain. However, God offers us hope, and love! Even amidst the pain, he promises to send us the Comforter, the Holy Spirit (John 14&15). But without those going to invest in the lives of those who feel hopeless, how will they know what comfort is? We are all part of the body of Christ, and are each called to different things. God has called me to go to Ukraine to invest in relationships with people from all wal...

So one of the things I will miss the most about my life here in the states, is my Friday night group. I love Friday nights because friends come over, and we eat, sing and dive into God's word together! It is always awesome to have that with people. A group to engage you, encourage you, pray for you and sharpen you. "When two or more are gathered, I am there"- Matthew 18:20 Find a community of believers to belong too! And if you do not have one, or can not find one, start one! You only need two to make a group:) But fellowship with other believers, have Bible study with other believers, and pray with other believers, it is so sweet and vital in our growing in Christ! <3

Three boxes packed. I think I will need one more to be fully packed! And praising God for a good friend who agreed to pay for my shipping cost! I am so thankful for the support that has been shown to me. God is so good and so faithful.  All that is left to do before I leave is to finish raising monthly support! This weekend, I got to spend time with some great friends, and got to see great friends get married. Weddings are so special. I love weddings. I'm not looking to have one anytime soon, but I do enjoy looking at the latest wedding dress styles, the trends in reception venues and so on... But more than anything I love what a wedding symbolizes, a loving Covenant. 1 Corinthians 13 according to the Message says...    Love never gives up.      Love cares more for others than for self.      Love doesn't want what it doesn't have.      Love doesn't strut,      Doesn't have a swelled head,      Doesn't force itself on others,      Isn't always "me first,"      Doesn't fly off the handle,      Doesn't keep score of the sins of others,      Doesn't revel when others grovel,      ...

Well, my plan when I move is to have my own apartment. The main reasoning for this is because my parents apartment is small and a lot of what I want to do is host small groups, and living with my parents would make it hard to do all that I want to do. So I have to pack things for the place that awaits me. So far, I have towels, a shower curtain, two sets of sheets already packed. Still will need to pack the two pots that I own and my one cookie sheet and my one casserole dish, but surely that will be enough... I still need to buy flatware before I go... and measuring spoons/cups... but i still have two months:) Needless to say, the packing madness has begun, and I am just hoping that shipping through MEEST will not cost me a fortune! Oh yes! Thanks to the one time gifts people have so generously been giving, I have bought a plane ticket! It makes me grin from ear to ear, one to know when I will begin my calling in Ukraine, and two, to know that I am loved and supported by people who know me well, and by people whom I've never met or who know me only a little. God is amazing, and his plan is always perfect, and I am just so blessed to be apart of what he is doing!  So if me moving is news to you, send me a message, check out my website, or facebook... keep up, because I am on the move and God is great and is going to be doing so awesome things!
